Network Node

Network Nodes, indicated by a + (plus) symbol, enable connections between plans and ecosystems to enable further collaboration. The Network Node can link directly to the OnePlanet Action Plan of the entity or its website. 

Link Outcomes, Actions or Indicators to a Network Node to demonstrate the activity of a particular entity. Network Nodes can be created as: 

• Workspace plan
• Organisation 
• Plan 
• Project 
• Initiative 
• Asset
• Other 

The Network Node can also be used in the creation of a Resource/Asset/Stakeholder Map to communicate existing companies, initiatives, and projects that are delivering within a locality. 

To create a Network Node:

• Open your Plan in Mindmap view or Table view. 
• Click Network on the left of Mindmap View or Add Network at the top right of the screen on Table view.
• Enter the Name, Type of entity, Link, Details, Location and Additional information, Contact Name, and Contact Email/Link (note: only the first three fields are mandatory).
• Choose whether you want the Network Node Contact Information (Name and Email/Link) to be visible to just Plan Admins or also Plan Editors/Viewers.
• Choose whether to make the Network Node Public or private (this means that other users will be able to adopt the Network Node into their plans too, we recommend you make your Network Node public to encourage transparency and collaboration).
• Click Add Network.

To adopt an existing Network Node:

• Open your Plan in Mindmap view.
• Click Network, then click Adopt.
• Select a Network Node from the list or click the ‘eye’ icon to view the Network Node before adopting.
• Click Adopt Nodes.
