Connecting Ecosystems
Connecting Ecosystems allows for connections to be made across workspace ecosystem plans. If you’re interested in collaborating with another workspace’s ecosystem plan, then you can either Invite to Connect or Request to Connect.
Navigate to your Ecosystem Plan dashboard. Here you will see a Connect panel on the right of your screen. This connect panel includes Invite to Connect, Request to Connect and Manage Connections.
Invite to Connect allows the invited workspace to view your Ecosystem Plan and adopt your Shared Outcomes and Shared Indicators. Click on it and choose the workspace you’d like to invite by clicking on the drop down bar. This will send an invitation to that workspace. The workspace you have invited to connect will see a red dot beside their name in their workspace. If they click on this and then Manage Connections, they can either Accept or Decline this invitation. They will not be able to view your Ecosystem Plan and adopt your Shared Outcomes and Shared Indicators until they Accept the invitation.
Request to Connect allows you to request another workspace to share their Ecosystem Plan with you and adopt their Shared Outcomes and Shared Indicators. Click on it and select the workspace you’re requesting to connecting by clicking on the drop down bar. This will send an invitation to that workspace. The workspace you have requested to connect will see a red dot beside their name in the workspace. If they click on this and then Manage Connections, they can either Accept or Decline this request. You will not be able to view their Ecosystem Plan and adopt their Shared Outcomes and Shared Indicators until they Accept the request.
Manage Connections allows you to view which workspaces you’ve shared your ecosystem with under My Ecosystem Shared with and also view which workspaces you’re connected to under My workspace connected to.
If you decide you’d no longer like to connect ecosystems then click the Disconnect button beside a workspace in Manage Connections. If you have adopted their Shared Outcomes or Shared Indicators then clicking the Disconnect button will take you to a page to take action on these before you confirm to disconnect. If you have not adopted any of their Shared Outcomes or Shared Indicators then it will ask you to confirm your decision by clicking Confirm. After you click Confirm it will raise a request with the connected workspace. This workspace then need to finalise this by clicking Disconnect Workspace from their notifications tab. They will also receive an email to let them know. Both workspaces will receive notifications and emails to confirm that the workspaces have been disconnected.
