Filtering
Filtering helps you to focus on the most relevant parts of your plan by showing only the necessary elements. Depending on how detailed you want to get, you can use basic filters from the Mindmap and Table view, or advanced filters from the Document view.
It is important to note that the information is organised by outcomes. You start by filtering by outcomes, and then you can select the information linked to that outcome.
Basic filters
From the Mindmap and Table view you can use this filter for quick, simple filtering. You can filter by:
- – Lens Category: Select one or multiple Lenses (e.g., Equity & Local Economy, Culture & Community)
- – Plans: Show or hide additional connected plans.
- – Node Type: Focus on a specific type of node, such as Outcome, Action, Indicator, Solution, or Link. The Network Nodes allows you to show or hide different types of entities that connect plans and ecosystems within OnePlanet. They can represent organisations, projects, initiatives, assets, or other entities.
- – Node Characteristics – Filter nodes based on properties such as tags, priority, or system-level attributes.
- – Progress – View nodes at different progress levels (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, Completed).
- – Action Owner – Filter to see only the responsibilities or workstreams assigned to specific people.
Filter report
In Document view, you can access an advanced filter that allows you to apply more detailed parameters to your view.
- – Switch to Basic Filters: Move between Basic and Advanced modes instantly.
- – Date filters: Narrow down items using additional date parameters (e.g., last updated, start date, due date).
- – Filter by Additional Data: You can choose what do you want to see (guidance, monitoring, case studies, stories, progress updates, charts and/or additional actions fields.
- – Filter OAIs (Outcomes, Actions, Indicators): You can select the Outcomes, actions or indicators from each type of lens.
- – OAI Limit Control: Set the number of OAIs displayed (e.g., 250), useful for large or complex plans.
You can clear everything at once using Reset All.
Linked View
Linked View in Document View shows the connections (links) between your Outcomes, Actions, and Indicators (OAIs) while you read through the plan.
- – It displays the linked OAIs for each Outcome, grouped within each lens category.
- – It helps you understand which Actions support which Outcomes, and which Indicators measure progress.
- – It’s essentially the “reading/reporting” view of the links you created elsewhere.
So basically, you can filter the outcome and the information linked with it from here.

Important: Links can only be created in Mindmap View (using the Link tool). Document View is for viewing and reporting those links.
This section explains the filtering options in the plans. If you want to explore the connection linked to a ShareOutcome, please go to the Report Centre – OnePlanet Helpdesk.
